Let
me get one point established and totally clear to everyone lest I be misunderstood.
Insurance companies
exist on this planet to make a profit. They have shareholders and stockholders
like the majority of companies and are not run or setup as charitable institutions.
The reason I stress this point is that it would appear if you talk to most individuals
that there is this common misconception amongst some people that the insurance
companies exist for their clients first.
Now I'm not saying this comment because I happen to be anti-insurance companies,
far from it indeed I am very pro-responsible and sensible insurance companies.
What I am very against are irresponsible and devious insurance companies and na?ve
individuals. Okay I stress this point because I guess as the saying goes there
is none so dumb as folk. Insurance
with regards to today's highly charged and overstressed world is essential. It
is essential for every mature positive intelligent adult to make sure that not
only they but their families are covered against the disastrous or the unexpected
at any time at all. How
many times sadly have we heard of stories about individuals who are killed through
road traffic accidents and it turns out the driver of the other car was not adequately
insured. This can have disastrous consequences to all parties. Auto
Insurance falls basically into two categories. You either have what is called
fully comprehensive insurance or what is deemed to be called the third party fire
and theft insurance. With fully comprehensive type of insurance you are covered
against what ever happens to you whilst you are driving or doing anything in a
car whilst as the name suggests it is not the same with the regards to third-party
fire theft.

This
brings me back to my earlier assumptions and suggestions that insurance companies
exist for their stockholders. If insurance companies did not return a reasonable
and expected level of profit for their stockholders they would cease to exist
plain and simple. |
